This was our first horse. Her story is something else. She was as old as they get, look at the first four pics of the day we got her, her nic-name was "Sticks".

He is my first paint ( not my first horse ) I call him Saphy for short or bubby and some times old man! He is about 17 years old.I have only had him since 2003 and I know I missed out on a lot by not always having him.
He has the SWEETEST temperment.There is'nt a price I would take for him. He is the best kids horse he lets anybody ride him He is a great begginers horse too.He is teaching a girl how to ride right now.And I hope he will teach many more. He know when he has someone who doesn't know what they are doing on his back and you can see how extra carefull he is with them.
When I first got him he had some bad habits if you had you back to him he would take his nose and slam it into your back and almost knock you over ( he just wanted your full attention ) But I told him no one time and he has never done it again.
